Criminals regularly send fake e-mails about municipal taxes and water board taxes. This might be in the form of a reminder or demand for payment letter. They ask you to transfer money, usually via a link in the e-mail or to a foreign bank account. If you receive an e-mail asking for your (bank) details, be on your guard.
