Movable property tax

The municipality spends money on a variety of facilities. For instance, education, neighbourhood development and the construction of play areas and parks. By paying movable property tax, owners or users of also contribute to these facilities.

For whom?

Owners of houseboats and mobile homes. But also owners of portable, freestanding, temporary living spaces.
As well as owners and users of detached temporary business premises.

How is the tax calculated?

You pay a fixed percentage of the market value on 1 January of the previous year.
