I have a greenhouse company. How does the RBG calculate the number of VE (pollution units)?

For greenhouses, the tax bill is 3 pollution units (VE) per hectare (10,000 sqm). The following rules apply:

  • greenhouses with a glass surface up to 3,333 sqm pay 1 pollution unit (1 VE)
  • greenhouses with a glass surface between 3,334 sqm and 16,666 sqm pay 3 pollution units (3 VE)
  • greenhouses with a glass surface of over 16,667 sqm pay 5 or more pollution units (5 VE)

For example 36,000 sqm glass pane surfaces /10,000 x 3.0 VE = 10.80 pollution units.

If you do not agree with the amount of the tax bill, then please send an objection notice via My RBG.
