At the Regionale Belasting Groep (RBG), we believe it is important to help people with money worries properly. Money problems are not just a personal problem, but something that impacts many people. That is why we are proud to have received the Geldzorgenbewuste organisatie (Money Worry Aware Organisation) quality mark.
This quality mark shows that we deal well with people with money worries. This applies to both residents and our employees.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

What is the GBO quality mark?<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n
\n

An organisation that is awarded the Geldzorgenbewuste organisatie (Money Worry Aware Organisation – GBO) quality mark structures its activities to help customers and staff with money worries as early as possible.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

The RBG was assessed on two elements for the GBO quality mark:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

    \n
  • Considerate Collection: we take account of residents\u2019 situation. We look for a solution together if someone cannot pay his\/her municipal or water board tax.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Considerate Employment Practice: we talk openly about money worries at work. Employees can get help and know they do not have to deal with it on their own.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n

    Why is this important?<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n
    \n

    Money worries can cause stress, health problems and feelings of alienation. As a public organisation, we want to contribute to a society where everyone can participate. The quality mark helps us to:
    \u2022 Consider residents who are struggling to pay.
    \u2022 Support employees who have money worries.
    \u2022 Try to prevent debt by providing timely help.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
