The cost sharing standard applies if you share a home with one or more adults over age 27. In that case, we adjust the exemption calculation. This is because several people share the costs of the household.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

We count the number of persons age 27 or older. The nature of your relation with them is irrelevant. As is their income. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
